  7. * There was an interim release of Conversion Master between versions 3.0 & 4.0 (version 3.5). 
  8.   Version 3.5 had been out for about two months before the release of 4.0.  This version (3.5)
  9.   will no longer be available except for an on demand basis.
  10. * There are two different pricing structures for version 3.0 & 4.0.  People who primarily just use
  11.   the conversion database will want to order 3.0.  People who need the oblique triangle/circle
  12.   solving features, the conversion database and the ability to enter Degrees, Minutes and Seconds
  13.   should order 4.0.
  14. * Since most people will had not purchased/evaluated release 3.5 (based on its short life span)
  15.   the information that follows will cover all the major differences of version 3.0 to 4.0.

  19. [Improvements from version 3.0 to 4.0:]
  20.  
  21. * Conversion Master now has the ability to solve oblique triangles using its Oblique Solver.
  22.   This is a nice addition to the calculator which already has the ability to solve right triangles.
  23.   The Oblique Solver automatically solves an oblique triangle when any three values are known;
  24.   calculating all unknown sides & angles of the triangle along with its area and perimeter.
  25.   The Oblique Solver will detect ambiguous cases where there may be no triangle at all for
  26.   the input data or cases where there may actually be two triangles that satisfy the input data.
  27.   Its intellisense input buttons serve as flags to the user showing what values were input, what
  28.   areas are available for input and which were calculated.
  29. * Conversion Master now has the ability to solve circles using its Circle Solver. When any two
  30.   values are input into the Solver the circle is solved automatically.  Inputs can be in any
  31.   combination of two; Arc, Angle, Radius, Chord, MidChord or Height.  When a circle is solved
  32.   Conversion Master also gives you a wealth of other information pertaining to the solved circle
  33.   in a graphical combobox.  For example Conversion Master graphically depicts and calculates;
  34.   Sector area, Circle area, Circumference, Remaining  arc length, Segment area along with six
  35.   other useful calculations. The Circle Solver uses the same intellisense input features as the
  36.   Oblique Solver making Conversion Masters tool set very easy to use.
  37. * Added the ability to copy any of Conversion Masters output displays to the Windows clipboard
  38. * Added a drop down combobox with embedded graphic images to the Oblique Solver.  These images
  39.   depict calculated values.
  40. * Like the Oblique Solver, all Circle Solver input data is retained upon exiting the program.
  41.   Upon re-entry, Conversion Master recalculates the last Solved Circle and Triangles using the
  42.   saved input data.
  43. * An added input mode allows for inputting Degrees, Minutes & Seconds directly into the calculator.
  44. * Conversion Master remembers all your last calculated values.  Conversion Master appears
  45.   just as you left when restarting the program.
  46. * Conversion Master 4.0 accepts a comma as decimal separator in foreign countries that use it.
  47.   Version 3.0 would drop off the decimal portion of a numeric value in foreign countries that
  48.   use a comma as their decimal separator.
  49. * More popups have been added to speed calculations.  Left mouse click over the RCL key invokes
  50.   popup menu for recall of all stored values.  Left mouse click over the STO key invokes popup menu
  51.   for storage location input.  Right mouse click over the decimal point button brings up popup menu
  52.   for accuracy settings.
  53. * Conversion Master system information utility added.  Monitors system resources and returns system
  54.   and hardware information.  Accessed via About dialog box.  
  55. * Help documentation expanded and enhanced.  CM gives you a graphical walk through of its features
  56.   along with many examples on solving practical problems.

  61. [Fixes from version 3.0 to 4.0:]

  63. * Fixed problem the EE key when entering negative exponents with negative values
  64. * Revised Setup program (Some errors reported under windows 3.1x during setup)
  65. * Revised Conversion Masters System Information utility.  Some of the display data
  66.   was truncated in version 3.5.
  67. * Fixed problem that caused the program to abort when the system button in the About
  68.   dialog was clicked.  This only occurred if the file SYSINFO.EXE was deleted from the
  69.   program directory.
  70. * Changed Scribe font of credits message to Times New Roman.  The Scribe font was 
  71.   unavailable on some systems causing the message to display improperly.
  72. * Corrected problem with the Num Lock indicate.  It did not function in the shareware version.
  73. * Corrected problem with Temperature Conversion dialog.  It sometimes was not initialized
  74.   properly in the shareware version.
  75. * Some out of memory errors were reported from Windows 3.1x users.  Release 3.5 of Conversion
  76.   Master corrected that problem.  This error usually occurred when the user tried to invoke the
  77.   Telephone Registration Dialog.
  78. * When switching to the Degrees, Minutes & Seconds mode (clicking DMS key) the calculator
  79.   was to reset the Degree Radian & Grads option buttons to degrees if its previous state was
  80.   Radian or Grads.  This problem has been fixed in release 4.0.
